Muscle tables and color illustrations are featured throughout, clarifying the instructions and descriptions in the text. This is a concise revision of Sauerland's Grant's Dissector, 11th Edition (Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, 1994) to address national trends for compression of the time allotted for gross anatomy in the curriculum. |
![]() | Color Atlas of Anatomy: A Photographic Study of the Human Body by Johannes W. Rohen, Chihiro Yokochi, Elke Lutjen-Drecoll 5th edition Atlas includes dissections with precise representation of color and structure, schematic drawings in addition to high-quality color dissection photographs, and a didactic organization. New to this edition: new photographs and additional MRI and CT scans, tables and charts, and a section on learning boards to serve as a review tool. |
![]() | Shearer's Manual of Human Dissection Spiral-bound
by John Weber 8 edition This highly regarded laboratory guide takes a straightforward, body system approach to human dissection with clear line drawing illustrations depicting incision lines and anatomical structure. ![]() | Atlas of Human Anatomy, Third Edition
by Frank H. Netter, John T. Hansen 3rd edition Now in its second edition, this is undoubtedly the best single-volume medical atlas available today, the only better resource being Netter's classic eight-volume set, published in 13 physical volumes over 33 years starting in 1959 and originally called CIBA Collection of Medical Illustrations after the publisher. (The name was changed to Netter's Collection of Medical Illustrations by the new publisher, Novartis.) Once again, Netter's masterly artwork has been faithfully reproduced, though the first edition (LJ 12/89) has been updated to reflect current anatomical knowledge and to incorporate new cross-sectional images to assist in the recognition of current "scanned" images. |
