Set of 7 Osteopathic - Chiropractic Charts
Set of seven 11" X 17" laminated charts for osteopaths and chiropractors. They show the sympathetic chain with innervation to internal organs and blood vessels. Several of the charts show subluxated vertebrae. Patients can see how extensive and highly innervated the human body is. The pelvic and sacral alignment chart shows malpositions of the innominates with the sacrum. The posterior view shows how these malpositions can affect the position of the femur.
The images used in the charts are from the early 1900's and bring a turn of the century look to the office. Artwork that is also educational.

Captions from the charts:
Pelvic & Sacral Aligment Chart. This plate shows the kidneys, liver, and lungs and their bony relations. One rib is shown in lesion and the relation of the nerve to the lesioned rib is also shown. The dotted lines indicate the abnormal position of the innominate in relation to the sacrum. The right innominate is thrown forward, lengthening apparently the right leg. The left innominate, the reverse. Slipped innominates, from wrenches, sprains, falls, or twists, are found existing in patients in our everyday practice, and correction of these innominate lesions results in the returning to a normal condition of the disturbed organs and tissues.
Sympathetic Chain & Nerve Plexuses. Showing the lower part of the spine and pelvic region, with spinal and sympathetic nerves to the organs in the abdomen and pelvis. The pelvic organs have been omitted, but the sympathetic nerves are shown, which supply and control these organs. Notice the two lesions at the 11th dorsal and 2nd lumbar, which might influence the functions of the spinal nerves as they leave the spinal column, also the sympathetic chain throughout its close connection with the rami.

Reflex Pain by Major Bertrand DeJarnette was first published in 1934, and the techniques and principles set down then, still apply today. This softcover reprint of that edition should be in the library of every chiropractic and osteopathic student and doctor. The book is 285 pages with many illustrations and is easy to follow and understand.
Brief Introduction
It has been the consensus of opinion amongst doctors that it would take a chronic patient months if not years to recover.
